Hi everyone, I’m trying to make my A4 to generate random noise/sound (modular-like) and when I saw this old video I was amazed:
Can anyone give me some hints on how to achieve similar results?
Thank you!

Random lfos, conditionnal trigs…
Thanks sezare56
What about envelopes, delay, reverb, etc…
At some point of the video the A4 is stopped and the sequence continues. ans the sounds seem to evolve even in lenght and intensity.
Filter self oscillation maybe. Can’t hear now.
Try and experiment everything!
It has definitely something to do with make filter self oscillate and make it random using LFO’s.
Thanks @sezare56 and @PeterHanes
Some excellent knowledge in this linked thread, Ive been playing round with these techniques this afternoon and the results are amazing!
Absolutely! I’ve spent the last two days generating random sound/noise like crazy.
I would love to make it sound not so harsh, more round, delicate. But feedback doesn’t allow so much room for experiment considering the filter parameters generate the sound.
Any ideas?
If filter 1 self oscillate you can make it softer with filter 2.
