A4 MKII (bug?): inversion of buttons CV and FX

I have updated the OS with last version 1.35 and I remarked that when the button CV is pressed, the screen shows the FX pages, and when the FX button is pressed, it is the CV pages that are shown.

So simply said, the content shown for CV and FX buttons is inverted. I have also the AK in my setup, and the vertical layout of the tracks buttons is Trk 1, 2, 3, 4, FX, CV and on the A4mk2 : Trk 1, 2, 3, 4, CV, FX, would this be the origin of a software programming issue?

To be frank, I am not sure this was a bug effect of the OS 1.35 update, it was maybe the case before (I don’t use CV, so I may have not seen this).

Particular point, when I got the A4MKII, I transferred a full Sysex backup from the AK to the A4mkII to have a replication of all the data/sounds/patterns/kits etc… Maybe that could be another origin of the issue.

Anyone with this case?

Those buttons are simply put on the wrong way around

Ask support about how best to swap them - very easy on Mk1 , not so sure about Mk2 but it can’t be that tricky to do so safely

They pull straight up, each button has a slot for the tongue on the button, it’s a friction fit If it looks like some buttons are more proud or recessed than others it’s because they’ve been pressed into the slot less or more When putting the replacement on, just do it gently until it aligns with tops of others My A4 had buttons all over the place (from new) and I used to think the PCB was sinking, it was just that buttons had been pressed in too far during assembly Hopefully Elektron will …

Yep indeed, there are physically inverted… Will contact Elektron Support. Thanks for the answers.
