Analog four / randomizer with depth control using max or pd

hello,

there has already been some apps and patches to control the a4.
particular to randomize the parameters of the a4.
one thing i couldn’t find so far is a randomizer with depth control for the randomization.
so based on a specific sound i would like to set a (lets say 10%) random deviation
to get a slight variation of a given sound… so for all selected parameters a new value is set
within this 10% range.

anyone already done this or something similar and like to share some ideas/ patches?

thanks, johannes

there should be a new version of the A4Randomizer at some point. similarly to the one for the MM, it will include randomization depth and few other things  …stay tuned

this is great! will it be a4 mk2 compatible?

peace to the bundeshauptstadt.

i’m not sure as i haven’t checked if the MKII uses the same MIDI CCs, yet but that shouldn’t be an issue

i checked it and it seems that the cc msb values are identical. however I’ve just noticed that some parameters can’t be addressed via cc but only via nrpn lsb, like “filter overdrive” or “enva env shape”. you probably know that already….
