Erase a bad live record performance in slots mode

Hi all. So I have a nice bed of kicks and snares laid down in grid record. Then I go to live record to record a hi hat. Not happy with the hi hat take. How do I remove the hi hat to be able to try it again? I’d rather not have to do everything over and I don’t want to just record the hat in grid mode. Just simply un-do a bad take and try again until i get it.

Untested, but try going into realtime record in slot mode then hold NO whilst holding the trig which the hihat is on.

Erasing plocks live during a show?

I've done a bunch of googling and I'm getting mixed information, plus my trials and errors aren't giving me a definitive answer. I am recording live parameter automation and melodies on the OT with slices. Sometimes I want to erase all the Plocks for only 1 parameter. It seemed like, in live recording mode, I could hold down the NO button and press the parameter knob and it would erase them, but it only worked sporadically. ANy ideas?
