How to setup Ableton Live to send pattern changes?

Hi there,

can anybody give me a little tutorial on how to setup Ableton and the Analog Four so that I can send cc’s from Ableton to change patterns in the Synth? I use the usb port for midi. I have had no success yet…

The other thing is weird: The arpeggiator is not working to my satisfaction. When I use the interval mode to have different notes on 2nd 3rd and 4th note it does’nt playback those chords in realtime (both from the mini keyboard on the device or from a connected midi keyboard), but if record notes to the step sequencer they are played back correctly. Anyone having the same trouble?

Would be great to get some help.

Patterns can be changed via program change messages (note messages too, I think). Simply add an appropriate midi track and an empty clip with no note data, then, on the bottom left, change the program message.
