Seems like there might be an unresolved issue with this:

RYTM Mutes stopped working–frozen

Hope someone can help, driving me crazy! Mutes are not working and completely frozen. I cannot turn mute pads on or off. Also the MUTE mode LED is always on, regardless of mode chosen. Last night all working fine, ready to record this morning, did not change any settings–turn studio on - nothing! Yes I've checked what MIDI info the RYTM is receiving, made sure all is internal except for MIDI clock. Am only sending MIDI clock from TR-909. No computer, no over-under bridge, no mutes!! Cannot…

Unfortunately the only solutions in that topic seem to be making a new project or performing a factory reset.
