Question: how to duplicate and change pattern without interruption?

Hi,

While jamming I wonder how to copy/duplicate a pattern to a new pattern without stopping the sound.

Here is what I do: I copy the current pattern, I jump to a new pattern (which is empty) and then when the jump happens I can copy the old pattern and start a new idea.

My issue is that during a short period of time there will be no sound because until I copy the pattern it will be empty (no events).

Pattern copy on the fly

yeehah - danke - at the 10th attempt (you REALLY need to 'AND HOLD" you also get a nice screen confirmation and helpfully it keeps you in the original pattern slot) it also works for clearing too - i don't think i read this in the manual .... c r u c i a l l y though, it doesn't play nicely with any pattern select mode other than Sequential !
