If you have a quick pc it’ll be glitch free
My pc was 5 yrs old and it was fine to make samples with , running in single mode.
My iMac was too slow but it’s from 2010
I think people on here are over complicating things.

Sounds like it works pretty well on the new M1 macs, someone was saying they can run one instance on each performance core (4) with full polyphony and no glitches
Hey all! Just wanted to update here since this is pretty cool. Viper, a vst based on the Virus, just added an update that allows you to import native Virus soundbanks in their .MID format. Adam Szabo, the designer of the vst, has posted the Virus waveforms needed for these soundbanks to sound correct on the Viper site. It’s also super simple, very drag and drop to set up.
Have been playing with it for a few days and it sounds v nice, really brings out the quality of the Viper vst.

There has been an update recently with a ui , it’s on their discord channel , might be on the website but I’ve not checked recently.
Viper is just a software synth that sounds like a virus.

Works great over here (2018 Mac Mini running Ableton Live 11).
Unfortunately I don’t really like the sound of the Virus LOL.
