Cheap portable speaker for travel studio

I had JBLs that did that, too, with no way to stop it. Out the door they went. I’m still baffled by that auto shut down whether you like it or not feature. And I liked those monitors. Morons.

I think JBL can even change this through a firmware upgrade. So many complaining about this part on different fora. They dont listen.

Got the minirig 4. Tried with a few songs. First impression is very good! That thing goes loud without distortion. For bass below 60hz, best is to have a sub for that. But for that size what it does, Its good enough. Perfect for my portable rig.

The mesh top for the case is kind of curious. I guess it means you can play Bluetooth (not wired) with the speaker inside. I’d rather have full protection…!

True, its open on top. You can see the cone from the grill. Have to take good care of it :relaxed:. I wanted this one, as its so small and has usb-c charging, bluetooth and aux.

After all the recommendations in this thread, I bought an audio pro c3. I’d never heard of the brand before reading the thread but it was about $100 and came in white to match my model samples because I care about that. It’s been great and I would absolutely recommend it.

Did you experience (any) latency with this brand/model, both with bluetooth and AUX in?

I haven’t used it with Bluetooth at all, but as far as i can tell there’s no latency via aux in.

Ooh, I see they function as a powerbank too ! Have you tried that ?

True! Its in the manual. I tried quickly with my iphone 15 pro, but i didnt saw it charging. Will try later with different cable.

I got the Audio Pro Addon T3, what a gorgeous little speaker! Same width as the Digitakt, they’re a match made in heaven.

Looks cool, can you test latency from triggering a sample to hearing it through the speaker? Doesn’t need to be scientific, just perceived.

Can’t honestly say I’ve noticed latency, and I’m quite a stick in the mud for such things!
