Chord Machine sounds dull

How close is Syntakt to Cycles?

Sitting here with an M:C but without a Syntakt, listening to much posted music, the thing that stands out for me is the Chord machine. Would you say it is also very different, or less different than the others?

Treating Syntakt as M:C probably only leads to grief.

I don´t thing nobody is nor will be that stupid at that price point but there are always corner cases.
