Cool t-shirts?

I know what you mean, it’s not just the set up it’s all the materials, the storage and the clean up that would kill if there isn’t already an established workspace. cute design (the digikat), diggin it. The new stuff looks good too, that would be an intense process though, need really crisp masking on the screens.

Treated myself to a new T the other day….
Anyone read Japanese and care to translate ?

All the fun synth shirts I’ve purchased have been on-demand and even when they’re on decent soft shirts the ink is cheap and crumbles off within a few washes.

I can’t convince my spouse to let me silkscreen in the garage :frowning:

Hijacking this ancient thread about ‘Cool t-shirts’ to shamelessly promote that I’ve started creating weird/esoteric/strange synth/tape/audio-electronics t-shirt designs and uploading them to TeePublic: https://www.teepublic.com/user/timbient

They are kinda niche though… definitely not going to be everyone’s (anyone’s?) cup of tea.
So far the only one I have sold is one I have bought for myself.

I’m looking forward to seeing how well these images I’m making print onto t-shirts.
If people are interested I’ll post some images of it.

I mean if you don’t have one of these, I don’t know what you’re doing with your life.

…last few years, always when on superbooth, i made it more and more a tradition to hunt way more for fancy/arty/witty shirt shots, than for actual shots of gear…

due to very very slow internet connection for the next few days, i can’t upload any…
but i’ll be back with heaps and heaps of various sonic gear and audio biz related shirtshots…

but to spoil a little…the very best of them all was cenk one day, wearing a shirt with the claim…
stop plate techtonics…

who wants a little preview…i posted some in all the superbooth threads all over this place here…
shirts are THE hot shit…

I wish more cool shirts were printed on

  • good fabrics
  • good inks, on-demand stuff just disintegrates within a few washes, which sadly destroyed the DOOM (moog logo modified) shirt and other ones I bought to give the original artist their cut.

I also wish POD spam was less prominent, it was everywhere on twitter/reddit in the past and I’m sure it’s no better now.

While I’m whinging (not offtopic at least!) I’m sad that band shirts have managed to get even worse. Hanes Beefy Ts are bad enough, but at least the inks were better in the past. This isn’t always the case, but I’ve had too many people I want to support at a show provide stuff that’s a terrible sack of a cut with coarse fibers and quickly printed. I know why this has changed, but I don’t have to like it

Psh, of course you screen print with your little kitties. Tell your work friends “Less kittin & more printin’.
