Luxembourg has the lowest VAT, 17%. It would be 499 eur including VAT.
Looks like a relatively good deal for UK buyers when you take the case into account
Part of me says “UK buyers do not need any more good deals, look at all the used listings the rest of us can’t take advantage of,” and part of me says “UK buyers deserve all the good deals they can get because Brexit fucked them over severely”.
Oh i’m absolutely the latter.
The only weirdness is around Roland’s distribution contracts.
I think my policy should be to pay nearly as much but try to find a deal used on device + case/bag. That way i still get to pay less but find people more likely to cut the deal.
That is what works well for me. After finding the Sherman at the end of my Japan trip, I browsed through MW and found a CXM-1978 for well under new.
Japan and Japanese sellers are worth trying. The yen is very cheap compared to the dollar, so deals can be found. I haven’t bought from Japanese eBay sellers yet, but I’m tempted to.
Nice sale price for a BIM at Rubadub.
MPC Keys 61 is 1299US on Amazon right now.
Universal Audio Pedals look to be back on sale at $319.99
Must Resist!
Yeeaaaahhh, just bought the Del-Verb. They are on sale at Andertons
Just think of the fact that the new generation of pedals is married in a terrible way to their app. Furthermore, there has been practically no development of that app as regards the first generation of pedals. Should be easier to resist now, shouldn’t it?
