Introducing Digitone II

What a f**ing week - new Elektron in couple of hours, then Move AMA with Ableton team in the evening, and Trump on Rogan on Friday.

How am I expected to do any work, huh??

Can we expect the forum go into meltdown today?

Unfortunately “dig deeper” will also suggest to every 'naut “ooh, it must be that new feature I requested for OT/DT2/M:C/M:S/AR/A4/AH/MD …”

Paging @Tchu to remind me of my ‘I’m perfectly happy with my DN and can’t imagine an upgrade that’s not Tonverk that would entice me to get a DN2’ nonsense.

Deep pockets.

you missed one

Pretty sure it’s going to be Tonverk. Because TOnverk is DigiTONE II.

There is this flickering TO -> II, plus that teal colour as a shadow. Tonverk had a teal button like Digitone. It’s signature, stereotypical DX colour, so it’s probably FM.

The video premiere will just be @dzyndzel eating an encoder and then they’ll reveal the DNII.
Best marketing strategy since the tonverk speculation thread.

I am in the same boat, on paper, but it really depends what it would bring in the case of a DNII. Just doubling everything is the conservative move. Dunno how you would double tracks to 8 on the button front though, unless they ditch the dedicated track buttons and move them to the grid like classic Digitakt with 8AUDIO+8MIDI

Tonverk, Rick & Morty edition.
