Day 3 and still sticking with a combination of Superior Drummer and DS Thorn
I see there is another sequencer at the bottom, not sure what it is, as its coverd from your body most of the time, does it sequence the iridium ? Which visualization programm do you use ? (Spectrum, and level? That is from your audio interface - but streamed to a pad?)
Sick session!
Hey, thanks for comment! Sequencer is Oxi One, and Iridium is also sequenced with it. For visualization I use DigiCheck NG (part of RME, that comes together with Totalmix I think). Visualization reflects master output from mixer (Model 1).
Just delayed going to get my lunch so I could listen to the first one all the way through. High praise, in other words.
ok, Iām running out of ideasā¦
Funky bass, guitar + brazilian Cuica as mono lead.
Phone microphone to keep it real:
this baaaaangs, great tune, makes me want to be at a sunny festival in the forrest
Day 3
Left the OP1F switched on all night and the battery was drained, so my somewhat disfunctional OG stepped in.
Embracing the imperfection.
Do it. Get a plane tƓ your nearest tropical forest and go party.
Day 3⦠Iām getting into it. https://youtube.com/shorts/mYe9bHO5V9o?si=mMsjhcFB2mj_NOAj
My inspiration-word for today is slug. So I wanted to do something slow. It became pretty eerie too, so think of it as a soundtrack to Hodgsonās book The Night Land, the passage with the giant slugs.
Improvised on Minilogue xd, using Digitone as effect unit.
Number 03. Cheesy tropical vibes. Must be the weather.
Inspired to experiment with an analog style multi-tracking workflow, I busted out my R8 and really enjoyed the process
4 mono tracks: 2 drum mics, AK bass, guitar
2 stereo tracks: e piano, matriarch
Transferred and mixed it in Logic
Iām excited! Multitracking is a tough workflow for me to drop in but I felt really good with this. Popped this track out in about an hour
This is sick and it made my four year old freak out so hard dancing that she hurt herself, nice one
