Also for whatever reason micro usb alone seems to be noisier than a barrel adapter. I guess my point being: great for jams, mediocre for recording.

I agree that this is best used as a utility / jamming mixer. My intended use is to add more stereo inputs to my 402 or 1202.

The comment below raised an eyebrow. I haven’t had any problems with USB noise, but all of my USB devices are powered from Anker or Sabrent hubs or power bricks:

I had this also. USB is terribly prone to ground loops / noise for some reason. Mine was inadvertently fixed when I switched from a cheap Atolla USB Hub to a more pricy Sabrent 10 port hub. Not saying this is a solution but just that it resolved it for me.

I’d also be interested to know what op-amp(s) the moukey is using because I’ve never seen it mentioned.

I’ve got one coming next week, so I’ll post photos if someone else doesn’t get there first.
