That’s the problem right there. I can leave the outside speakers connected to their respective outputs, but the center one needs to flip. Some kind A/B box would work, and it could be all 1/4-inch connectors (I could run a 1/4-in to XLR to the speaker).
It would have to be a balanced box though. I wonder if I have something like that in a drawer somewhere…
@Affectionate-Bee-781 I thought about just using the two speakers like that, but then it would always sound odd, instead of just half the time.
I hear that! I might be weird but I don’t mind the odd stereo effect I just got the habit so lots of mono in my world right now. This thread introduced me to some cool products and got me using my mixer and other gear differently (I’m trying a Zoom R8 to split signals) so thank you!
I took a different approach. Instead of buying a new speaker to use with the L-shaped desk setup, I re-arranged things. I removed the computer display to a shelf/standing desk, where I will work (I write for a living), and turned my big desk into a music-only desk.
It’s an Audio Housing desk with pull-out sections. Piano on the bottom shelf, Push and laptop/iPad on the next one, speakers on top.
Still using the Big Knob, but as an input selector, and as a mute switch for when I power the Push on or off (it puts out quite a thump)
