If the musician is into nasheed or qawwali the answer is not. That musician must not get tattoos.
I donāt know if I have ever had an idea I believed in long enough to print it on my skin in ink, other than perhaps my deep suspicion that free will is an illusion.
Of course, that means Iām not choosing to not get inked, anyway.
Should musicians have tattoos? What a strange question.
Some far more important questions, in my opinion:
- Should ducks be left-winged?
- Should tea be drunk?
- Should abortions be vegan?
- Should salads be tossed?
- Should clocks run counter-clockwise?
no musician who takes their career seriously should have any visible tattoos or piercings. itās very important to project professionalism at all times. do you think cliff richard would have got where he is today if he had tattoos? of course not. grow up
Should minijack midi be legal?
My new tattoo: āTossed, not stirred.ā
The trick with tattoos imho is to get one or two that are good and a bunch that are shitty but not too shitty. Combine with an anarchist athleisure aesthetic and you might be me idk
This thread ended up being surprisingly funny. @swanage_fan, Love the Cliff Richardās comment

Cliff Richard and Dolly Parton
easy way to finance modular.
This is a silly question unless we specify genres.
Pop musicians must have at least two tattoos, but no more than 5.
Rap artists must have 5-10.
Minimal techno artists must have one on each wrist.
House artists must have tattoo sleeves and no more than 12% body fat.
Classical musicians must have one small tattoo on the ankle.
Metal musicians must have a neck tattoo and substantial coverage of one arm.
Psy-trance producers must have a small facial tattoo.
Indie musicians must have colourful bicep tattoos.
Itās vital, so we donāt get confused about what sort of music weāre hearing.
I have substantial coverage on one leg but only one of my bicep tattoos are colourful. What genre should I be making?
Lo-fi hip-hop, but with guitars and EDM drops
Thankyou, o wise one
nothing inspires me more than sitting at the keyboard and seeing my boomhauer/johnny bravo crossover tattoo
