Sticking with the OG Digitakt?

I will be waiting till the bug reports aren’t coming so thick and fast, and Overbridge is functioning and stable.
A lot of the new functions look good, but I’m not going to ruin my workflow for them.

Gunde Svan realised it was faster in mono. So fast they had to rule against it.

If you are even old enough to remember it, was a infinitely worse

 you lot will surely not pass through the pearly gates of the Digodtaaakt!

Ive paired my DT with my lemondrop, it makes an awesome combo, and I’ve barely scratched the surface of what would be possible, immense depth there…

Come to think of it, I have never filled up the RAM on my OGDT… What am I going to do with 400 mb?

Ordered the DT2 with mixed feelings. We will see when it gets here.

Having a session today sampling movie dialogue via my MacBook movie Library and TX-6 (VLC / Quicktime > Loopback software > USB-C > TX-6 Input > TX-6 Aux> DT Inputs.

Teenage Engineering stuff does look nice with the E25s lol

which loopback software are you using?

Its actually called loopback. Its quite expensive but I just use the trial as it gives you a fair while before interrupts / requires restart

I have been using a DT2 for the last few days and still have 10 days left on the return and I’m starting to wonder what to do:

I’ve been playing with just the stock sounds and I’m starting to feel the DT1 being only mono is actually a very good thing. The reverb / delay sounds clean and spacious / stereo when only triggered by mono samples and I’m starting to think that stereo samples don’t sound as ‘Digitakt’ if that at all makes sense.

But the DT2 OS is better to use in literally every way. Architecture / layout / tracks / intuitiveness / features / RAM / drive space - all are a huge improvement.

I’ve got to get home and try some better samples out.
