Anyone managed to midi sync this with other devices. I am trying to get my MPC60 to be the master sequencer. Turned on Midi in on the KO2 and using a midi to TRS converter. But the KO2 does not respond. I read somewhere that KO2 likes to be the master?
are you sure it is the proper trs/midi converter? I ran into this issue with KOII and Microfreak. KOII is Type A is believe. I was using a Type B converter with no luck.
That could be the issue. I am using this one
yeah looks like 1010 uses type B. You need a type A
really digging my jamuary beat today so i wanted to share here as well! the 133 has been my not so secret weapon this year, last year the m8 was my go-to to get something done each day and this time around i think im making more groovy stuff
(I came to the conclusion that this thing is the most beautiful synth/gear/ā¦ I ever saw, but that I have enough samplers )
But itās so prettyā¦
Impossible. Absolutely no such thing as too many samplers.lol
I saw this the other day. Good interview. Iāve been on the fence, but it does give me a bit more confidence in a potential future purchase. So, hopefully Fadergate is behind us. Will also be keeping an eye out to see if the new firmware reduces instances of memory wipes.
That said, some users noted dodgy speaker connections. Is this flaw also addressed by fixing the packaging, or do they think that was a more limited problem confined to manufacturing gremlins in the first batch?
Iād love to see how you produce those tracks on the KO2, funky and groovy as usual do you plan to release any videos? Itās so boring that all the videos on yt are just regular boombaps
Sell one and buy this itās even more fun than it is pretty
I wonder if this means they could unlock more polyphony at some point. Even just 4 more voices would make a big difference
Folks seem to be interpreting turning on CPU power savings as āwe are barely using the CPU at all so weāre ready to turbo charge this thing and add every feature under the sunā
Iām afraid people are hearing what they want to hear not what was said.
thanks! i did actually film a few videos, wasnt a big fan of the editing work so i havent continued. this one shows the whole process but its a long one
Bit of a sloppy one-take performance, made in 5 minutes. Crazy how much you can get out of one bar on this thing, performance-wise (didnāt even change any patterns), and how fast everything is. One thing (I think itās a thing) is that putting the correct sample types in the correct groups (kicks/snares/hats/bass/melodic) helps rolls and repeats be musical. Thereās a lot of smarts under the hood of this thing while being so accessible. I love it so much.
Thought Iād share this here since I posted it in the Op1 thread, but hereās some short synth samples I made from a Prophet 6, 0b8, DT, Buchla, 0Coast, Strega, etc. Hope some work for your melodics!
Lol, there has been like 2 speculations in this thread about what could potentially change with an unlocked CPU.
I keep running into this sporadic undo bug with MIDI recording though I canāt say if it affects anything else. Itās super frustrating as Iāll record something and then hit undo, and instead of it undoing what was just recorded it seems to also undo not just the most recent recording but also what was previously recorded on an entirely different MIDI track!
Aside from that I just wanted to mention that itās honestly the most inspiring sequencer Iāve ever owned. Itās just amazing how quickly you can get ideas down on it and thatās the way I love to work. Thereās really nothing else like it.
Would like to buy one of these but I hear thereās still no way of backing them up? A friend has one and his is already full - so heās somewhat frustrated to have to wipe some projects if he wants to do anything new on it. I donāt want to be in the same position, especially as it looks like the kind of device Iād really get stuck into.
For undoing just the last part of recording you MUST switch recording off (disactivate record button) after each successful part. If the recording button stays active, the EP will undo all parts recorded in this current session.
