Pitch bend, aftertouch, mod wheel and velocity is recordable. Velocity and pitch bend on the device it self and AT and MW via midi
I think that is quite unfair, the device has changed quite a lot during that time so writing a manual on functions that would later disappear would not be a good way of working either. The work regarding GUI and manual comes really late when all the functions have been set in stone, so in this case there isn’t really a lot of time to do a manual.
But on the other hand Elektron are really good at churning out proper manuals for their releases so maybe TE have to internally set some extra time for making manuals and maybe stall launches a cpl of weeks just so that sort of thing is complete.
I find this infuriating as well. Oora and Ricky are great, but it’s really infuriating when they have so little knowledge about the machine that they give incorrect statements.
Bobeats does this ALOT, only as recent as with the Polyend Synth where he stated very assuredly that you can’t use it as a midi keyboard and then the next video a dude was using it as a midi keyboard.
I kind of hate this hi status influencer bullshit where they get sent stuff to do a half assed demos with a device they spend three days with and then move on to other things.
Cuckoo is different in regards to OP-XY as he was part of the core beta testing team for the device so he knows it quiet intimately
