I liked this demo:
I was really close to buying the DN2, but there’s something about the sound I don’t like. I think it can make some really cool sounds with the comb filters, etc., but there’s something about the tone I’m not digging. I think it might just be how the reverb sounds and how the DN2 sounds when it distorts.
I definitely prefer the saturation and compressor from the OP-XY. I like making Trap beats and feel like its synth engines are more suitable for the sounds I want to use and love being able to mess with samples too all on the same compact device. Samples are crucial and I don’t want to have to buy both the DN2 and DT2, hook them up with midi cables, and route audio from one unit to the other with additional audio cables.
