The Behringer Gear-in-progress Thread

Are you aware of their budget Klark Teknik units? They do their own versions of the 1176, LA2a and Pultec EQ

There is also their version of the Dimension D chorus

Photo of Uli with two workers holding a new synth.

I recognize this one. Do you ?

The cart to the right, has multiples ā€“ so the quantity is at least engineering sample quantity, to give the go to manufacture after test, if not part of a full out manufacturing run.

Is there any clues as to when the VS-80 will be released?

If I turned around and was surprised to see Uli standing behind me with that grin on his face I would Usain Bolt it right the hell out of there.

Some weird optical distortion in that photo? The synth on the left looks like itā€™s 50% larger than the one on the right.

I think itā€™s because the smaller woman is holding it at a different angle, you can see more of the front edge on hers.

Yeah, must be it.

Looks photoshopped. Look at how the light hits the outline of Uliā€™s hair.

But heā€™s an Angel.

I thought that was a cardboard cutout of him at first. Not sure if I still donā€™t.

Look at their pants near his shoesā€¦ totally photoshopped. And the two protons are wildly different sizes, I think itā€™s two pictures of two different women holding the same synth. Then tacked onto Uli

To me that is not photoshopped.

The clues are the shadows under their shoes and the light streak reflection above the girl knees extending on Uliā€™s legā€¦

Ok never mind, I was looking at it on my phone. On a pc monitor it looks much more real to me.

The last image had what a few here thought a ā€œhead fakeā€, and in a way it was ā€“ it was posted to praise the workers in their factory, without mentioning the new synth.

And hereā€™s another photo with the caption, drawing attention to the MIDI/USB interface device on the left.

Thatā€™s a subtle misdirection. Look at the device on the right !

Notice the extra M at the end of the name. Itā€™s a second version, of the JT-4000. Notice the new TRS MIDI connector on the upper middle.

Not sure when but there is a new improved JT-4000 on the way. Same price, iā€™m predicting.
