I could upload 2 loops to Digitakt 2.
Just tested. I bought the Transfer app at release. Had to do a 6€ upgrade for file managing.
Link?
Found this one.
Tempting - are stereo files supported?
Thanks for checking! happy to hear it works
The samples transferred as is without being affected in any way? I think I remember reading people say it truncated their samples or something?
iPhone or iPad ? … last time I tried it only worked with one, crashed on the other.
iPhone. But the version I have is probably different. Could you try again on both? Do you have the version below ?
I hesitate to buy it, and make more tests to answer above questions…
I was being lazy, sorry, I will of course try it myself. So many things to experiment with on my DT2
EDIT: works like a breeze on iPad/DT2, crashes on iPhone, but that could be my non-apple CCK I suppose. Thanks for nudging me to experiment
I bought the newer version (Transfer:Samples) but former version works better! (Worked on iPhone and iPad)
I just checked, it added silence after the loop. Silence duration = loop length.
Otherwise it seemed ok.
On iPhone, pitch down (sample rate), truncated and crash.
Converted to mono.
Confirmed that the latest version, Transfer:Samples
- works on iPad, not iPhone
- works with DT2
- for some reason, doubles the length of the sample, adding silence, and converts to mono.
Yep. Needs resampling if you want to slice it.
Can confirm it works here as well, a bit finicky when trying to slice a loop with the slice points in that sometimes it randomly doesn’t allow you to add points after removing them, I also have the issue where it adds silence and double the length.
its says on the iOS App Store that they are preparing an update
is this already working well for the og digitakt right now?
The app works on my DT2, from iPad. I presume it was developed using the m:s and possibly dt1, and that the reason it works for dt2 is the that all 3 devices support SDS for sample transfer.
But not owning a DT1 I can’t be 100% on that.
Maybe this isn’t the first time this question is asked, but what cable do you use for a USB-C iPad? Since M:S is micro USB?
