After yelling at @kryten42 for taking down a techno jam before I’d had the chance to listen to it dawned on me that solidly 90% or more of what I listen to when not engaged in my own fiddlings comes from the following threads:
I’ve recently been listening to a lot of Blawan, Surgeon, Karenn etc. who play live and improvised techno sets. I’ve also enjoyed listening to the knob twiddlers podcast.
Given I have very limited time to produce (typically 1-2h a week) I think my goal of making tracks should be replaced with a goal of jamming/improvising when I turn on my gear. I thought this thread could be a hub for people to ask questions, provide tips and advice, share their setups, share philosophy etc.

I’ve posted a song or two here, although the our music section is generally ignored some songs occasionally get feedback.
So it occurred to me to ask, rather than talk gear and ask questions about how gear works or GAS about gear, SHOW what you do with it!
