What is the most ideal midi setting for Digitakt on Overbridge?

Using Digitakt to control Ableton MIDI tracks

I appreciate the reply, but I’ve got MIDI preferences set to Digitakt input and Digitakt output. Both the Digi’s MIDI configuration and Ableton Live MIDI track are set to Channel 1. So, what exactly am I doing wrong? What I need to do is have a piece of recorded audio on Audio Track 1. And then I need to have a MIDI track (with output set to Audio Track 1) equipped with the plugin, which is being controlled by the Digitakt.
