Pretty much the other half of yesterdays purchase. I got a 828mk3 (firewire) for £130. I’m going to wire it up to the RME in standalone(ADAT), route the DT out of it via OB into the z14. Surely if this is zero latency monitoring the only latency will be from the RME which is pretty much none existent on my system. The OB latency is 16ms.

It does have all those internal zero latency fx, which I though were ok, not amazing but useable in some situations. I would think the RME has a better clock/master sync.

I’m assuming I can send CV with this over ADAT too? I don’t see why that won’t work, it’ll just be an extra digital step and then to the DC Coupled outs.

Then I’ll bounce everything back in via the RME when done. Not bad, about £1,000’s worth of gear for £250.

Yep. You’ll be good in that department.

Great buy! I’m a big proponent of old MOTU FireWire interfaces being repurposed as ADAT and CV out expanders. Best deals you can find on the used market, really. So much functionality and stability for so little $€£

Just finished building two Music Thing Modular -> Volts for the Turing Machine.
I plan to use them to modulate things in relation to sampled and repeated randomness!
Aslo, 10 extra nobs is always a good thing

Yeah it’s insane what you kind find if you have a little bit of an idea of what some of the units can do and some patience. I had an Ultralite and I was happy with it’s sound, I just knew the RME was that small step up in a few ways. I also see it has RCA Digital in/out which I can connect to the MPC, the MPC(2500) has DC coupled outs too so I should be able to sample it into there cleanly now, so many possibilities for such little money

MD, MnM, OT and Cirklon.

we were separated at birth.

I use my old MOTU Ultralite (MK1) as a CV to modular. Werks perf

Mack Daddy.

I ordered a 3tier stand for my keyboards. Trying to set up a poly station.

The stand was too long to fit. Luckily my rad girlfriend was able to cut it down for me.

I got a little friend to go with my Pro 3.

I plan to use them both together as a super synth powered by the flexibility of digital, and the speed of light through CV.

^ Pro3 & Iridium look gorgeous.

Bought another new iPhone 6S Plus from Walmart for $150.
To make phone calls.
To use as a decent Bluetooth MPE controller with KB-1. 3D Touch is nice.

The black monolith has arrived :black_heart::black_heart::black_heart:

Seriously, this is a beautiful machine. I spent the first 10 minutes just holding it and looking at from every angle. Stunning. Underlines absolutely no bother at all and I like subtlety of white and grey text mixed together.

Intentions: Make an album with just this, a Nord Lead and Ableton Live. Wish me luck!
