It sounds much better than your phone’s mic (a pretty low bar, I know), is cheap as chips, and dispenses with the need to carry yet another device all the time.
It comes in a small pouch with everything you need to plug in and record something straight away. Packed in it’s pouch it’s small enough to keep in a jacket pocket and always have on hand; much smaller and lighter than a separate dedicated recording device. The fidelity really is surprisingly good and for gathering sound with WavePad to use in the Model:Samples I think it’s great
