Analog Four OS 1.1 is OUT!

Awesome! I’m really excited for this.

Cool! Can’t wait to try!!

Could you add: When in the Soundmanager…press left cursor key for Sorting Options plus Cat Filter etc.

Wow! My A4 has just grown a pair of balls. Sounds different doesn’t it? Even without the resonance boost, it sounds better.

dunno, really? psychology, imo.

I don’t get it – how do I actually hear the polyphony? Do I need an external midi keyboard? The onboard “keyboard” doesn’t seem to play more than one note at a time.

Dankeschön!! Thanks a lot Elektron!

awesome!
thanx a lot for this impressive update!
:+1:

Instant fun. Thanks for the update!

Poly Config = Fn+Kit !

Oh man this is huge, thanks Elektron!

Possibly the cans of brew dog I had at the burger joint tonight  I was using Senn HD-25s before I went out and now using TMA-1 studios. Could be that too. I got to know the A4 pretty we’ll the last couple of month & I swear it sounds better. Hope it still sounds this good when I’m sober in the morning

I just uploaded the new OS… but I had 32 “old” pattern all messed up, instead of 64.

So I tried a factory reset and now I have the new pattern and everything seems fine.

It’s happened to me only ?

Anyway what an unbelivable great update !!!

try the following:

  • enter poly config (fn+kit, twist level knob clockwise, yes)
  • then hit fn+global, enter midi > multimap

both of these are very handy to have for performance, and if you do the above, you can then quickly switch between multimap & poly with fn+kit and fn+global, until you exit either menu with NO.

Liking push to select on the destinations, wish they’d add that to the sound browser too, nice 'n intuitive instead of just Yes. Fn + Yes keeps the browser open, a bit like before. Also like the little details on when you pass 0 zero

it isn’t psychology… the a4 ABSOLUTELY sounds richer / more open & alive with the 1.1 update.

I’ve spent multiple hours a day for last year using the a4 & it is definitely not psychology.

Yes, I did that. Doesn’t seem to work. Pressing a new key makes the last note stop.

I have the same feelings about the sounds. It really seems more open… or it’s just the new presets more wide… I don’t know, but I’m happy

I STRONGLY suggest to make a FACTORY RESET after updating… It solves some weird things. My A4 not updated the pattern before factory reset, and the A4 of a friend of mine didn’t show the name of the preset during parameter locking presets. After the factory reset, everything is fine for both A4.

So I was a bit stumped with this.
I thought if you wanted 4 voice polyphony you just had to put the one X in the number 4 box, but you need to make sure you put the X in ALL boxes up to the number of voices you want (ie. 1-4 for 4 voice polyphony)
