I guess this is the next best thing to Slice and Repitch machines from Digitakt? But, an upgrade is still an upgrade and, feeling the love from Elektron again for their flagships. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Thanks Elektron. so many great features, I would be happy with Eucledean mode and scales only, yet HH and other machines are awesome.
Whats with the dual vco? It used to have 4 steps per semitone, now its just two octaves spread between the two oscillators. Why cant we have more granular detune? Anyone?

Could someone please share some photo/video of the LED brightness settings? Strangely this might be the thing that makes me upgrade from mk1 to mk2

i’m having some weird problems with the update on mk1 something like a random synth sound triggers out of nowhere on a trig of the kick.

What a crazy update…! Hold trig to see which parameter pages have p-locks isn’t working, but that’s minor compared to all the stuff that is there to explore!

I’m on Mk1 btw.

Hope ya’ll well, I’ll have to explore a bit more.

Edit, strike my complaint, I misread the release notes. Holding down a trig in step rec mode let’s you see which parameter pages have locks, not in grid rec mode… The update went smoothly.

From your posts in the Syntakt standalone thread, you seem into those kind of sounds. Were you involved in the development of this particular Machine?

Sure, here is a quick comparison before and after engaging the low brightness.

Please forgive the poor picture quality, I did my best to capture the differences.

This sounds bloody great.

Beautiful sonics. Was this from the main out of the Rtym? Out of interest can I ask what converters you were going into?

I have just updated and this is an amazing update!

If they implement the eucledean sequencer on the A4 It is going to transform the way we do music with these 2 machines

Great video. Nice and clear demonstration of the features.

The Sid voice is making me want to buy a rytm again after all these years.

+1000! and has anyone ever mentioned BANK level mutes? could be very useful.

Someone said on FB that the " the euclidean mode doesn’t fit steps evenly across the pattern using microtiming."

If so, how can it be considered as euclidean? I’m curious but I can’t see how it is implemented as I don’t have a Rytm.

That is exactly what makes it euclidean. Trying to fit 5 notes as evenly as possible into 16 slots for instance. If you had microtiming you would be trying to evenly fit them into like 500 slots (or whatever the microtiming resolution is).

Does anyone know if I should calibrate after warming up like the old calibration, or should I begin it while the unit is still cold/fresh?

Amazing update! Do the high resolution sample start and end points work with MK1? Sounds like it does from the release notes, but didn’t seem to be working in the EZBOT MK1 video posted above.
