Hah sorry I know it wasn’t an answer but I couldn’t help myself. What are you looking to do with a speaker like this? I could see hooking it up to a headphone jack for impromptu performance. Sort of doubt that speaker would sound very good though.

I wouldn’t want to hang a speaker off of any of my jacks. Any speaker that would have decent range is going to have some weight. I have heard good things (on this here forum) about the minirig speaker. It’s still a 1/8" jack, but there are adapter cables for that.

Sweet, thanks. I’ll check this out! Just looking for something to use in the park or on the porch. If I can cut down on wires that’s be great.

But yeah, something sturdier and preferably flat would be ideal.

JBL Flip Essential has aux in and is pretty much the same as the Flip 3 that i have. Sounds surprisingly good for the size. Not flat though.

Best way to break the jack.

Kitsound boombar 2. Had one for years. Use it when gardening. Battery lasts ages aux in and Bluetooth. Weighs a ton!
