The Elektron pair I would choose, and presently have under consideration to purchase, is the Analog Four MKII and Analog Rytm MKII. It would be interesting to compare them to the Roland TR-8S and MC-707 combo I use on occasion.

OT + A4 mk2 using the 4 individual outputs on A4 into OT for some wicked FX mangling. Or sequencing the midi map from OT with soundpool shenanigans…
Non Elektron fav combo… OT + OP-Z, OP-Z has the best midi implementation I’ve ever seen in a synth which makes it so much fun to use OT to midi mangle it.
