I remember someone mentioning they were playing RDR2. But while a lot of people did interpret it to be a statement of influence, I just thought it was an innocent statement of fact.
I wonder if developers play each other’s betas…(I know: phrasing)
Idk that I would want ALL of ERs things in TotK (it was a bit much for me) but definitely more that botw.
If anybody looking for a palate cleanser to enjoy TotK as much as possible, I highly recommend “The Last Case of Benedict Fox”
The game is an absolute dumpster fire. Combat is more unforgiving than Elden Ring. Story is convoluted. The game is buggy as heck. The game will crash and you’ll lose hours of progress. Also the controls are often unreliable.
I actually BEAT this game and the ending is super anti-climactic. The credits appeared on the screen and I was like “oh! I guess thats it…”
Super unsatisfying. If you have xbox game pass, its free to play on that.
Its awful. Enjoy
Edit: wait. I’ve got more to say. There are upgrades to your equipment that are required to progress the main story of the game- which is just a stupid design decision. The quest lines menu gives you nothing to go on, and often times the description just mirrors the quest name “find the x&x: find the x&x”
If Nintendo was smart, which they clearley are not, they should shadow drop the eshop version of Zelda this Friday one week early. Instead they really trying to get the leak out of the net😄…in two weeks, for a game that spreads like wildfire.
Shadow drop and everyone is going crazy including me. Will dance like timon and pumba
You can burn bridges with your retail supply chain partners exactly once.
Nintendo knows how to manage hype. They know how to manage distribution. They have been winning this game for 134 years.
I’d joke about wanting to be a fly on the wall if Nintendo was foolish enough to try something like this, but I have been on the other end of the line when a VP of Operations from a major retailer absolutely loses their shit. It isn’t fun, and I don’t really want to experience it again. (BTW, the VP was in the wrong, and my team members were right. We had a lot of good laughs at the VPs expense after I managed to get him off the line)
Do you think? I thought it was more a case of a “previously on Zelda” vid just to provide some context from wherever tears jumps off from - and I guess without adding to the file size.
That nytimes article was really nicely put together, but for some reason seemed to just end abruptly talking about Zonai. Dunno why it didn’t have some kind of conclusion or kindve wrap up at the end
Not only that, but unless this is the only top tier Switch game you will ever buy you should buy it with Game Vouchers. $100 for two games. TOTK is $60, so as long as you buy another $50 or $60 game, you saved $10 on TOTK and got the preorder.
