You know why that is…everyone is in the “spoiler free” Zelda thread
I’ve had 3 maybe 4 infractions in there.
But hey! Rain Code looks cool! Definitely looking forward to that!

Lol, I muted that one after the first “incident.”
Glad I’ve stayed off that island.
Just be grateful that that particular thread was created to serve as a magnet from all Zelda discussion
Especially the part where its revealed that Link never actually had a moustache but instead has a mental illness
(La Moustache)
((((I ran out of popular movie spoilers and had to resort to more niche titles))))
3 new games for Nintendo online. Still waiting for Prime 4 and Zelda plus F-Zero Remakes
One of the most beautiful things about the switch that I’ve had to accept playing via dock and lost my joycon controller adapter is…
I can play in the way I watch TV. Straight lounging- one hand down the other over my head in a slight lean.
Its brilliant
Thinking about purchasing a set of 3rd party joy cons, or perhaps one of those one-piece docking controllers.
Does anyone have hands on experience with a set that play well and don’t drift after a lot of use? Accommodating big hands is a plus.
The TOTK grind between me and the kids putting a lot of wear and tear on the equipment.
I’ve already sent the original joy cons and the Nintendo pro controller back to Nintendo 1x for repairs. My original joy cons and my 2nd pair all drift.
I have an 8bitdo controller and some powerA controllers that work fine with the TV, but sometimes I wanna play handheld too, ya know?
I got Diablo II Resurrected for 15 AUD in the sale a few days ago. Ok so its an older game, but man is it good! Absolutley loving it.
The skill tree thing took a while to figure out. I made it to the end of Act 1, but my level 15 Paladin just seemed to not get any XP after that. And I died. A lot. I ballsed up the stat reset thing early on because I had no clue what I was doing.
So I dumped all my stuff into the shared box and restarted the game with fresh Paladin. Carefully paying attention to the skill tree.
And… I remapped the buttons so he wasnt trying to pick up items mid fight. So now I have a level 4 Paladin that absolutley smashes it, way harder than the level 15 did.
I played the OG Diablo 20 odd years ago and never got very far with it. This time round its a keeper. Recommend if you like games that force you to figure it out yourself or you’re fucked.
I’m on a little business trip now and figured I’d pack my OP-1 Field to make some music while I was killing time on the hotel. “Yep”, I thought. “Sounds like fun. I’ll do that.”
Then I realised, I could just bring my Switch and play Zelda, and I went “WHOAAA HELL YES”
I wonder if I’m just starting to fade out from music making
I have def been guilty of this over the past 3-4 years! Sometimes I’m resigned to it but other times I give myself a shake and think “hell no, got to make more of an effor”! But there’s just been some great releases recently. Especially with Elden Ring (goodbye much of 2022), Zelda and now Diablo. Starfield around the corner. Sake…
Take both and sample into the OP1F!
I’m about to be that way here in a bit.
Ghost Trick and Rain Code are coming out, both on the thirtieth.
Besides, I could use a bit of a break from worrying about art and enjoy someone else’s
So true. I actually feel quite comfortable in this situation. I don’t mind dropping music, if only temporary, when it’s due to the fact that I’m just thoroughly enjoying someone else’s creation.
I’ve already put close to 100 hours into the new Zelda game. Haven’t nearly put as much time into making any music, but I’m also fine with that at the moment. Also, animal collective just dropped an absolutely stunning 22 minute single and whenever something like that happens, I think of maybe quitting music and just leave it to the peeps that can do a much better job than me.
That also crosses my mind more frequently not that I don’t think I’m any good. I think I’m okay. I just think that it’s so obvious, I remain an amateur. Whereas in my professional field, there are thousands of people better than me. But there’s no one like me, professionally.
Whereas in music, I sound like most people and their cousins. So I don’t know. A certain sense of it being pointless, but in a very relaxed and comfortable way, appears. As in, I don’t mind letting it go.
And I still get most out of just sitting down and playing the piano anyway.
But we’ll see. It’s a phase, I’m sure, like most things.
After this last slew of projects I’m working towards finishing, im really thinking about taking a break from music.
I’ve decided to tackle every medium of art I like. Doing music, doing video for the first time, gonna try arranging a performance, then I’m just gonna chill and write a novel- follow up that chill with an audio book. And then we’ll see where we’re at.
Me too, thus I will have time to finish Persona 5 Royal
I am deep in Metroid Prime Remastered and it is an absolute ball. Totally lives up to the hype; will be first Metroid I’ve ever finished. The biomes are wonderful, environmental storytelling is my jam and the progress-gear-access dynamic is super fun and balanced.
The distance between Saves is pretty brutal tho ngl.
Q: will I stumble upon the Artifacts playing or should I be looking out for them or will it be an endgame-type mission?
You need to actively look for them based on the clues you get. And they’re essential to finish the game. And a blast to find
Worth mentioning that it’s by lead developers of Inside and Limbo.
I spoke too soon: in Phazon Mines, the distance is actually cruel.
