Can I use the digitakt compressor on external audio?

If I send audio in via the inputs, will the compressor effect it? Looked in the manual but don’t reallyunderstand the flow diagram. Thanks :slight_smile:

I’m trying to send the external inputs of my Syntakt out into the DIGITAKT II, but can’t seem to get the internal L/R inputs (into my Digitakt II) to reach the compressor.

Searching fort a bus matrix, or send the external inputs to the comp, nothing seems to work, and my compressor is slammed to check this as audible for testing purposes.

I can hear the comp is working on track 1-16 on my Digitakt II internally, just not the external input sources

Any thoughts, ideas?

It’s on page 2 of "COMPRESSOR ROUTING’. Hit ‘FUNC+FLTR’ then ‘COMPRESSOR ROUTING’. You can use the up and down arrow keys to paginate. You can toggle ‘L’ and ‘R’ by selecting their respective trig keys.

And don’t forget to adjust the IN Level of the External Mixer on page 5 of the Mixer setup (FUNC + MOD).
