With the first DigiSphere sound pack, the obstacle was to work around the limitations of the Digitakt and still create atmospheric sounds. Digitakt II has now given me all the freedom and sound design tools to create the sound pack I wanted to make back then. And so I put in as much of “substan sound” as possible … everything I need for my ambient tracks.
hope you enjoy …
Get DigiSphere II here:
Unfortunately, payments via PayPal are no longer possible on Gumroad. Therefore the sound pack is also available in my Patreon shop (no subscription needed)
Will definitely come but will take a while … I managed to ignore the Digitone II for a week even though it’s here in front of me … to get DigiSphere II ready. Now I finally have time for it
Looking forward to try these as I loved Your Digisphere and Digitales.
And even more to analyze it and try to come up with my own soundscapes for my tracks.
No clue where to start
Thanks, bought it and it’s amazing! I enjoy a lot exploring the sounds, understanding how they are made, compose with them and modify them …and my kid as well
Question
I uploaded the project file and when I load it from the Digitakt is empty. I suppose there should be something inside - right? Any suggestion? The only thing I did is to rename your folders. Does it matter for the project?
I think the project file is just there for the FXs settings.
I’ll add that I’m on my second Substan sounds pack (also got the ST) and I can say that both are absolutely outstanding. I’m considering a DNII just to be able to load the Digitales in it and complete the collection, while I wait for Digitales II…
It can sound like an exaggeration, but Substan work totally changed my perspective on the Digis, that are now my foundational machines to compose and enjoy music making like no other piece of gear did till now.
Thanks so much for your lovely feedback !! very appreciated !!
Exactly … the project file is only there to share the FX settings I used when building the sounds. These are on all patterns of bank A
Oh right! Now I get it, thanks a lot for shining light on it all clear now thanks!
@Ciaba I totally share your view. I am sure all of us have fun in different way. Just a for sharing I downloaded some poems readings from Freesound - RikkyBoy399 and I am composing ambient music on top using the amazing @substan pack
After working on these sounds for so long, I needed some time and distance to get inspired… but here it is, my first track that uses DigiSphere II to its full extent.
