What’s the new lfo destination list like?
It’s just displayed differently and better, with sections rather than some long flat list. I don’t think the actual destinations would ever change

I’m definitely hoping for overdrive post filter like on the DN2. I don’t really like the super clean resonance of the digi filters, they need some distortion after IMO.

I agree, this feels way slower than i expected after hearing “mono sampling coming next update”. It’s been almost half a year… (EDIT: more than)
Still enjoying my Digitakt II as is but itching for a few improvements. Would really love folders for projects too so i can keep different music projects separate
Taking long yes. Hoping for polyphony, zoom in on waveform, mono sampling/slider, some other stuff hopefully too.
9 months after release and still no word on fixes for very obvious bugs… IMO all feature requests can wait until they make the OS more stable and fix regressions.

Yeah it’s been 9 months, more than half a year.
I also think it’s unrealistic expecting drastic new features (polyphony lol, come on guys) when there’s so many bugs and problems with the machine as it currently is

Has to be said I’m also highly sceptical the DT2 will get that in the next release, or in fact ever. But then, before all the digis got song mode, that was also claimed by some to be ‘not the elektron way’ … and then it happened. So what do I know.

Polyphony it’s something too much game changing to see them giving away in a free update, I see it more like a selling point for tonverk
I doubt polyphony is coming either. Not sure if it’s being reserved for other gear or more a case of 16 voice stereo polyphony exists you just have to program it weird.
I just kind of wish there was a roadmap or something so we could at least have an idea of when to expect something. Maybe they’re just hard at work adding new machines and filters

Does it count as stretching if I am using it to slow beats down? 
i don’t need full polyphony, but pleeeeasee give us the ability to link tracks at least!!!

Tried many times, the results are occasionally usable, but rarely impressive.
As for the Werp machine I’ve yet to get it sound anything other than trash, I don’t know what I’m doing wrong or understand what I should be using it for
In addition with the Grid machine introducing unwanted clicks and pops you start to realize this suite of machines on the DT2 isn’t as great as it first appears
I think 98% of the time I stick to the One Shot machine, which is a shame

Envelope follower in the MOD section. Set to follow specific tracks(s) or inputs 1 and/or 2.
Both for midi and sample tracks. Assignable to all the same things as LFOs are.

I agree, the machines need a lot of polishing. They don’t work the same in stereo. I use repitch for breaks and one shot. I feel like I’m getting desperate for an update or maybe i should just buy a digi i again.

that would be awesome! on any elektron device to be honest. i’ve been using the envelope follower in my ms20 routed to pitch with drums on the input for years. great random melody creator.

I understood that the MOD section could be upgraded in the coming updates to add ADSR/enveloppe follower modulations.
