On the Digitone 2, playing around with preset #2 Monolow, and noticed it’s got a kind kind of clicky transient at the start of each note played.
I’m struggling to figure out where it’s coming from for that sound, just from a sound design point of view so I know how to recreate or remove in sounds.
Any pointers?
It’s mono with a longer release so it clicks where the tail of the previous note is cut off by the new note. but the amp also has 0 attack, set that a bit higher?
When I make mono sounds I almost always immediately set the phase reset and amp envelope reset to off to avoid clicks.
Thanks, will see if that does it - I didn’t even know there was a mono option in the menu, I thought that was done by locking a track to 1 voice.
Will experiment more, but seems there even with a bit more attack, and even on playing a single note, but haven’t tried messing with phase/amp resets yet.
