Looking for a really versatile sampler vst for making really glitchy choppy phrases.
Is there a vst sampler out there that allows slicing a sample and looping each individual slice?
Or better yet is there one that lets you do plocking, if it even exists.
If you have Ableton you can load the loop into Simpler, set to slice mode then use ‘slice to drum rack’ where you can then loop the individual samples
Not really a sampler but I use Livecut Vst. It operates fairly random. I just track audio with it and cut the pieces I like. Great for stuttery, glitchy goodness. Btw, it’s free!
Yeah there are also a bunch of plugin effects that can simulate a similar thing eg illformed glitch
