Korg aint messing around!
First Korg release in the past 6 month that has my GAS all lit up!
Thanks for sharing this one out - almost missed it!
And that NTS-3 Kaoss Pad looks cool too.
This looks awesome!
The pair has me all excited!
June can’t come too fast. Waiting on the price tags, tho.
Omg, love a kaoss pad, on the list for sure
Super cool. $170 I read too! Definitely getting one if that’s the case.
That’s a bit pricey for the features.
But I my be talking too soon.
Mos def on my watchlist!
Always wanted an NTS-1 but never pulled the trigger, I’m gonna get the MKII for sure!
Did they disclosed pricing and availability for the new NTS-1 ?
Looks like neither do midi or audio over the usb-c port. That’s a shame for my use case.
The NTS-1 sounded amazing, and on paper it’s the perfect external effects box, but you can’t save any settings or presets at all. Switch it off and you’re back to square one.
From Loopops video it doesn’t seem like this huge problem has been addressed with the Mk2
Oh wow, i will defo want this
They’re really doubling down on Logue SDK, that’s amazing to see
I thought that was pretty good given the price of Kaoss Pad. Maybe it lacks quite a few features though, I’ve not deep dived. Seems like a nice companion for my dj setup at first glance
I think the Kaoss Pad one looks super interesting. If I got an NTS-1 I think I’d mainly use it as an FX box- the Kaoss Pad interface and the prospect of being able to add custom FX via the SDK makes it a really interesting proposition. The pad will probably be pretty small tho!
Love the kaosspad. This would be sweet to have.
Loopop says in the youtube comments that it saves the settings when turned off, but can only save presets in the editor software.
Settings - I took that to mean stuff like MIDI channels etc
Not the state of the parameters of the effects etc. which I guess you’d call a preset. He mentioned the editor “might” do that, for now it’s just for loading in oscillators etc
The improvements are welcome, the price jump less so. I wish they had done something about knob jump and arp sync. I also would have liked build improvements but I understand that’s more of a tall order.
They never properly promoted Logue SDK, and I doubt they will handle the new one very differently, so a lot of old plugins will not work, and we probably won’t see as much free or inexpensive development (Sinevibes, yes, but those are not cheap).
Knob Jumping is the main reason i barely use mine. Its sad they did not address that in MKII.
Ah … is that definitely not addressed yet then ?
