Machinedrum jack nut description?

Hi guys, does anyone know the description of the thin silver nuts that hold the jacks in place at the back of the machinedrum? The reason I ask is that the Alpha Base does not come with such nuts (?!), so I had to take two of them off my MD. I thought they were these ones but I bought them and they don’t fit :frowning:

Thanks in advance!

If you can get a measurement of the diameter of the nose of the socket that will help. Different manufacturers will use different nut and thread sizes. Armed with that measurement you could check the datasheets of a few popular socket assemblies.

Have a look here. If you scroll down the page you’ll see you can click on the link to the data sheet. Most have a dimensioned technical drawing of the item :+1:

The other option is to open the MD and get the spec of the socket assembly. That should narrow it down. Non intrusive method is prob the best if you don’t want to open it up.
