hi all,
just wanted to drop a note for those of you interested. at today, the SFX-JII public beta is over. i’m working on the new enclosure/PCB which should hopefully be ready soon. until then, the SFX-JII will still be available in its ‘beta form’ (there are still some PCBs left …just in case)
in the meantime http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8cQFy0jV6s a new video of the Morph4. hope you enjoy it
hello everyone,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndMlOnE7-EM another update for the Morph4. a couple of new features and the usual work under the hood…comments are, as usual, welcome
…another video update http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9o1ccGRkYdA
unfortunately the internal sequencer had to go. its place has been taken from a randomizer
hi all, i wanted to give a quick update to those of you interested in either the SFX-JII or the Morph4:
- unfortunately the production of the new enclosure for the SFX-JII is taking a bit longer than expected, hope to get things sorted soon
- the firmware of the Morph4 is undergoing final tests. here’s a picture of a first enclosure i built (still not fully finished but enough to see what it’ll look like
)
a picture of the new version of the enclosure for the Morph4 is available here. more info to come soon. (the one pictured is actually a working prototype i’m using for testing)
Hey Guga looks really interesting…works this with all the Elektron Machines ?
yes cortega, it’s a standard MIDI controller so there won’t be issues with your Elektrons
ok…comes the Unit with specific Elektron Templates ?
what do you mean for ‘Elektron Templates’? like, encoders already preassigned to specific CCs?
Yes…but i saw all the Videos in your YouTube Channel now…This thing has Midi learn and Scenes like the OT !!! this is really awesome…you got me
did you have a Release Date ?
nope, no release date yet. i’m still sourcing some components and finishing up the firmware…hopefully it won’t take long
Looking much forward to updates on this little beast - brilliant idea. How’s the work going, guga?
i’ve been pretty much busy trying to sort out the enclosure for the SFX-JII (which is taking a bit longer than expected ) and starting development of ReSyn so i’ve not managed to update the website with some fresh news but i’ll do that pretty soon
Ok, cool, man, love your projects. Really excited about the Morph4 - are you planning on selling it as a DIY kit or a fully assembled kit? Anyway, good luck with your work, and please keep posting updates!
Hat’s off Guga, this device is very appealing. Will keep an eye out

@guga just did a little google and forum search but could’t find anything about the Morph4.
Do you have a website I can peep?
Just wondering about the idea behind the product.
It’s a midi controller? What is the idea behind the layout of the controls?
Oppps!

OK you are that guy haha!
My bad!
So this is a new product I see, would still love to know more about the idea behind the product!
the idea is pretty simple really: with the Morph4 you can morph MIDI parameters…a bit like what you do on the OT, but with MIDI
