I have stumbled across this in the process of prepping my Maschine mk3 for sale.
I initiated the transfer process and wanted to make sure the software would be ready for the new user, but had this response back
“Supplements of the hardware will remain valid in your account”
I was a bit sceptical of this, so I did a bit digging and came across the above thread.
I think it is only applicable for newer units and there are still some small uncertainties, but useful to know.
