Thanks for fixing the randomised tuning! Although it did give me some cool results every now and then :upside_down_face:

Thanks @Elektron !

Cool. Never encountered any of the ST issues. Having more options for start/end on AR is welcome for sure. Maybe there’s still hope for getting DT slice machine one day .

Good point!

I was surprised to see 0 updates for the A4

I wonder if it will remaon on the same firmware until retirement now

to be honest I do not see a big update for Rytm - just bug fixes

and I do not expert a big one next Wednesday,…

There are more devices to update than RYTM! But yeah they could definitely fix a couple of bugs lol. I think they also stated RYTM is maxed out but I’d be thrilled to see digitone 1 get some love.

And maybe not next Wednesday but, it does not hurt to think positively. Namm and buchla and friends is a busy time of year, whole forum and website revamp feels like preparing for a big launch. You never know what will happen, could be sooner or could be later but it’s gonna happen.

Don’t be disappointed. Elektron continuously updating Rytm MK1 leaves at least a fraction of hope…

Actually it’s a funny coincidence I started thinking about dedicated drum machines today again.

Every single time there’s an update there’s someone saying but what about [other device]? :woman_facepalming:

Improvements

In the SETTINGS > CONTROLS > SEQUENCER CONFIG menu, there is now a new setting, SAMPLE POS RES, that lets you set if the STA and END parameters should be high or low resolution.

[MKI] Setting the high resolution TUN, STA, and END parameters could be difficult. Now, it moves slower, and FUNC-snap is implemented for non-decimal values. Visually, decimal values are now displayed with a dot. When slowly moving such a parameter, there is also a visual indication on the decimal position.

ELEKTRON TEAM IS AMAZING.

You listened to your customers and you fixed the sample start/end bug introduced in 1.70

My sample chains are back in business!

I am SO happy and grateful for this update. I’m literally giddy right now.

Thank you <3
