OS Updates: Analog Rytm 1.72 & Syntakt 1.30B

this has happened to me quite a few times and i’m pretty sure that it was on 2 separate STs, def not a sw bug but i could never replicate it

He’s a janky way to ping pong, but I don’t know how to do it with short samples, this method relies on plocks.

Well, the LOW and MAX settings are quite alright now, the MID could still get a bit more contrast though.

[MKII] It was difficult to see the LED showing the currently playing page when using LED INTENSITY setting LOW.

i did the elektron update 1.72 on my elektron analog rytm mk1 , and when i put my elektron back on , its works for 3 or 5 seconds and then i can do nothing no more … plz help me because i have to play in spain this friday … how is this even possibble … wtf ???

Please send a message to support and they’ll try to help you further.

where i find the support that i have to send?

pfff aleee , i had already al lot of problems with it come on e not again ppff :frowning:

Probably this email address:

oh man, that sucks. I hope you get it sorted before the show

Speaking of that ST issue, I’ve not experienced it since updating to the latest OS, so hopefully all is good now

Hey guys I’m having trouble setting up new update. I just recently downloaded Transfer from website, and now I have open the Elektron Transfer 1.9.5 page and the Transfer page open and clicked on Drop. I have no idea what I’m supposed to be dropping in there to update. Anyone have any advice? Thank you

If you ‘connect’ to the plugged in device you drag and drop the os file and it’ll start to transfer

I presume you downloaded the firmware too ?

You’ll need to click ‘yes’ to confirm the update.

My Rytm is stuck on this screen. Should I manually reboot?

Edit, I did, all good.

@DueWhatThouWilt You drop the .syx file that is in the archive when you downloaded the firmware update to initiate the update procedure.

Apologies if this is already mentioned in this thread.

I recently became aware of a sample transfer issue affecting Rytm MKI on this latest OS, transfer 1.9.5 and apple silicon macs running macOS Sequoia 15.2 or 15.3.1… Attempting to transfer samples to your MKI might freeze/lock up the Rytm. Elektron is aware of this issue and a fix is forthcoming. Sample transfers seem to work ok on older macs, at least an intel mac I tried worked normally.

First I have to say thank you Elektron developers! You really nailed the sample start and end parameter resolution on the Mk1. It feels great in both hi and low modes!

But wth? Why do all the knobs feel so much better? Suddenly all knobs work better. I am dreaming, right?
