Recommend a good rompler

The one tune I did in M01D. I’m sure the iOS app version sounds better.

I always wanted one of those when they were current. I can say the same for the FS1R.

I had an EX5r many years ago. It was a fabulous synth that had loads of inspiring sounds and synthesis types. The workstation side was a bit of a bore to program.
Just recently got an FS1r (much wanted for years) and it is bringing back memories of the EX5r sound. Just lovely to play with.

Another vote for the Roland JV1080. I own a couple of them. They are an amazing bang for the buck synth.

Korg m3 module. Karma provides endless ideas.
Can slot a Radias card in it also.
Yamaha Motif XS rack is good too

I love my Korg Wavestation SR. Sound is very distinctive with pronounced mids, but bitch to programm)

The FA-06 can give you the Roland JV and XV sounds plus the Supernatural sounds with more FX.
It is cheaper than the Integra and includes a linear sequencer plus a basic sampler.

XV-5080.

Loads of midi and sound routing, support both types of old Roland expansion boards, loads of output options, easy enough to programme, sounds awesome.

Had one but sold it due to space constraints. Regret it.

similar synthesis.

The Roland MC series, especially the 909, is a great rompler and you get a sampler and a nifty sequencer too!

Im still finding gems in each after all this time. And still listening to film scores and TV show intros from previous decades and spotting thier presence on everything.

+1 on the E-MU Xtreme Lead! Wish I hadn’t sold mine. Drum kits are gold and so fun to play. Crazy experimental filter shapes. Also has every cheezy RAVE synth stab you might remember from the 90’s  Not as hard to program as people say but takes patience and learning. ProDatum software really opens up these old E-MU units too and it’s free.

Just missing the fm ability of the jv1080 but better rom sounds for sure.

I ended up grabbing a Triton rack for a good deal. It’s so nice just having 16 sounds at your finger tips. Now I want more :)

Excellent!!
And soon your synth collection will need its own bedroom.

Pro Synth Trainer Tip: Never ever give synths their own beds. They get too lazy when you do …
