was terrible to wake up to this today. she made so many great things and seemed like a really thoughtful lovely person. she was active in so many areas. a huge loss. RIP. so sad. gone way too soon.

Anyone have recommendations for where to start in her discography?
Her first LP was really important to me and gave me permission to do a lot of things that I otherwise thought “wrong”. I don’t know her whole catalog, but I’ve always admired her. Way too young. RIP.

there’s lot’s of gems and experimentation and she definitely has a tone and sound and there’s vulnerability but also some tough beats. her bandcamp is full of stuff.

Daydreaming at night. Yes. It has always given me goosebumps for conjuring magic out of nothing but tape hiss, hum, and midnight Dictaphone mumbles, but now I’m going to go listen to that and bawl my eyes out.
