Bumping this old thread because it seems that there’s finally a softsynth version of the Jupiter 6 that has just been released by Cherry Audio. No doubt, it probably won’t quite be an exact replica of the original but it does seem pretty nice sounding to me. So, whilst I’m not exactly short of analogue polysynth emulating softsynths I can definitely see myself getting it once I finish up with NGNY this year. Here’s a fun video where Mylar Melodies compares it with his own video of the original…
If you prefer a posher sounding run-through, then Tim Shoebridge has a nice overview video also and if you prefere a scousier (that’s a word!!) sounding take on it then Starsky Carr will have you covered… you’ll can find them on the ol’ Tube Of You’s…

Starsky is one of the very few YouTubers I can listen to all the way through.
He doesn’t say dope, word, dude or wicked ( that I can recall)
Gear4music guy seemed reasonable too.
I have a few cherry synths, quite cheap and sound reasonable. I buy softube if they’re heavily discounted.
