I get wrens that do the same thing.
Always young males.
They are fiercely territorial, and will fight any potential threats… including their own reflection.
This behaviour stops as soon they find a female and get laid.
True story.

Discovered this track and am absolutely loving the sound design of the melody. I’m trying to figure out how this sound can be made. Is it mashed up samples, wavetable or granular synthesis, or clever patching of a synth?
If anyone has any ideas, or knows similar tunes, would love to hear your thoughts.

After a day of chasing diodes, contact switches, traces, finally found the culprit, who ever did this abomination (definitely not a factory fit) should be shot.
Ive removed the wires since they go to the keytar socket (which I dont own, so dont need) sadly the header is fucked, so much solder on there the plastic is deformed and the socket wont seat properly. So waiting for the next trip to town to buy a 1 dollar part.
