Finally fixed it. Wasnt the 4 pin header after all. Dodgy traces, so I did a bypass, bit of a hack, but it bloody worked.
Top 8 keys that never worked… now work.
Random LFO wasnt working…now is working again.
My SH101 has never been this good. Now I can return to the album project.

Damn. I remember very well the first time I saw Requiem for a dream - was a teenager at that time, was avoiding school on the day, got high on nasty street weed and pressed play on the movie - changed my life in a way + that was also intro to Kronos Quartet - soundtrack blew my head off

So… inside, aircon on- time to modify my X0xbox. Going to tweak the filter a bit so the resonance is a bit more aggressive, increase the filter low end range, and modify the envelope so you can close it completely.
Its beautiful innards that I assembled. Including rave string to keep the wires tidy.

I found a recording of my old cello group playing some Dvorak that I thought I had lost. I’m so happy to have found this again after so many years, it was a ton of fun.
