yes! i’ve been obsessively scouring their social media and youtube channel for any information i can find out. koma says they will have it at superbooth, i want to buy one immediately but worried it will be priced very high!
Not only does the new Koma thing look cool, the Field Kit FX is back in stock! Hooray!
Looks like Koma may have two other new products as well.
Kassiopeia, and Sensei.
Melbourne Instruments is at the show !
ADDED : It’s a keyboard called DELIA. ( thread )
Currently, Haken Audio is running on Sharc. However, during last year’s Continuucon there was a talk about ARM. When ARM happens, we may see some sort of soft-synth Osmose integration.
Chompi Club has new firmware with a send return monitoring mode.
Likely for the SOMA FLUX keyboard with the CV breakout box.
Re Noisy 2 from Expressive E, I’m using it with the Rise 2 and it’s great. I actually prefer the sound to Equator 2. It’s also a nice simple interface for quick and easy patch creation.
On Bastls company info on the superbooth site it says something like “we could always use more pizza” I bet there’s gonna been a new algorithm added to the pizza module. Last year it was Basil which is a stereo delay. Maybe a reverb this year?
hold off on buying a Percussa SSP eurorack module this week? blink twice for yes
why would you do that @richie ? … when I just posted this on instagram
.just to be clear… unrelated… well except for I like Percussa stuff
yeh this is sick love how the display fits VCV.
Im waiting to see how 4ms MetaModule stacks up, they will also be at superbooth, i think they will have a range of support control modules as well.
yeah, the display on the SSP is really good., not only in size but resolution.
honestly, I feared it might be a bit small, as text on vcv modules are not designed to be on small displays, and you don’t want to be zooming in too much - as you need to be able to see and patch other modules.
but the above scaling, or even a bit more (so that you get to see one row), actually works ok.
It’ll be exciting to see /hear more about MetaModule, as I understand there will be a a dev-kit so can build your own modules. though, I do have concerns about display size… esp now Ive seen modules on the SSP., which I guess is 2-3x vertical size…
anyway, exciting times… unfortunately, Im not going to SB this year… but Im sure many will report back!
Looks like I was right in that its a new Bastl Pizza module
Crust digital drum module.
Really like what Bastl and Noise Engineering (and others) are doing by creating one module platform and people can switch out the firmwares. I might pick this one up… been eyeing the Pizza for awhile. I like the panel on this one more though. Should be $295 and can upload the Pizza FM synth voice and the Basil delay voice.
Do you it will be revealed before Superbooth?
last email stated:
One more reminder to find us at booth W320 at Superbooth! We’ll have some swag to give away that won’t last long and a preview of the next Play/Play+ firmware among other new things! Keep your eyes on your email next week, and be the first to get the latest news from Polyend!
So i’m guessing they might send something out maybes Wednesday just before Superbooth begins?
Twenty minutes of discussion on SonicTalk 800, on SB pre-show. Nick, Paulee, Matt, and new regular Richard Nicol. I’ll save you the time, but the discussion starts at about 10 minutes and goes to about 30 minutes.
Nick, who is under multiple NDAs has lost track of what he actually can say, but does non-specifically say, “There’s going to be synthesizers from some of … the big guys. There are going to be polysynths”. This is at 10:30. Obviously he means new announcements. So that’s good to hear. He also specifically mentions the Moog Muse.
At 12:30 Richard says he is excited to see the Cyma Forma ALT. Matt at 15:40 brought up the Juniper module from Mneumonic Devices, an 8 channel complex CV recorder, looper, modulator – which he recommends for live performance.
Oh and SonicState is going to be covering the show extensively, as we have now come to expect.
